La BAU, in attesa di un sostituto di Jason, vola a Portland, dove un SI uccide ragazzi e ragazze che si sono appena trasferiti in città e hanno pochi legami stabili. Il team sospetta di uno psichiatra che utilizza le paure ancestrali dei pazienti come strumento per ucciderli.
